Belly popping

Almost half way there! 38 weeks is full term for twins. Feeling much better overall. Just ready to start craving food!! My tummy is starting to pop and before I know it I bet ill be huge! I decided to take weekly pictures of my chalk board sign describing the size of the babies and post those. I have been taking monthly pictures of my belly... But may not post some until later. Brooks got to see the babies on ultrasound at last checkup. He thought it was cool to see them move around. He is still excited for now and wants at least one sister;). We are still a little overwhelmed, but starting to settle in some with the idea of two babies at one time! I'm trying to sleep as much as I can now because it may be my last sleep for a long time! We have our big ultrasound in two weeks. We are not finding out sexes again...crazy I know. So looks like we better start deciding 4 different names!

I'm a Big Brother!!!

TWO BABIES!!
(First ultrasound 6 wk 5 days)

Third Ultrasound
(9 wks 5 days)

Fourth Ultrasound
Baby B (13 wk 5 days)

Baby A (13 wk 5 days)

-Yes...for those of you who don't know yet...we are pregnant with TWINS!  Yikes.  I think I kept saying OMG a hundred times in the first ultrasound.  I am still trying to wrap my head around it.  Josh has actually been pretty calm about it all.  Either he is playing it cool, is really ok with it, or he has NO idea what is about to hit him ;)  I am now almost 16 weeks.  I am finally starting to feel better...yeah!  I have been SOOO tired and really nauseous in the evenings.  I just don't like food.  Which makes gaining all this weight difficult.  I know I will be HUGE soon enough, but I am supposed to gain the most of my weight early on so the babies have the best chance of getting nice and fat before they are born.  There are so many risks to carrying twins, that they need to be big early to have the best chance of survival if born prematurely.  However, we are not going there.  I am going to carry them until 38 weeks and that way there are no concerns...right?  Josh has been so great with helping around the house and making dinner. I am doing more now, so I am sure he is happy his wife is back!  I know Brooks is happy Mommy is back too!  I actually went on a walk yesterday and today with him and no naps today!  I have started to feel the babies move.  Baby B is higher and I seem to feel "him" all the time.  Not as much of Baby A yet.  Right now we are not planning on finding out the sex.  I know it is going to drive many crazy...but I just need a good surprise.  There is NOTHING better than hearing, "It's a boy or Its a girl" during one of the hardest experiences in a mom's life.  Brooks has been really cute. He wants to feel the babies move, kiss my belly or read to them.  He talks about how he is going to potty train them, wrestle with them and he has offered for them to have his baby blankets.  He is not going to know what hit him...but I'll take the sweetness for now.  He really wants a baby sister...so at least he has more of a chance with 2!  I'll try to keep this blog updated better (famous last words right?) and give updates of these TWINADOES (as Josh calls them).
