24 weeks

Baby A

Baby B

-we had our 24 week ultrasound on Monday. All went well. The babies are growing steadily and look good right now. They both weigh 1 lb 8 oz and are in the 44th percentile. Baby A had HB of 158 and Baby B was 146. They both are squirming around tons and we saw Baby B kick Baby A in the head! I still have marginal placenta previa, but cervical length looks great!

Brooks likes to kiss and hug my belly. He also likes to ramp him cars off my belly! He seems excited to meet them. He is most excited about me getting back to normal I think. He says ," when the babies come out of your tummy I can be rough with you again... Right Mommy?" He is really into being a big boy and does so much by himself. He likes to surprise me with his independence and is so proud of himself. I think he realizes his role of a big brother already! He is a huge help around the house and likes to have a "job". I can't blink or he will be all grown up! It makes me sad at times, but I'm so proud of him. I get nervous about how I'm going to share my time with 3 kids...but have faith this is all happening for a reason and that God never gives you more than you can handle. I've cherished my time with little Brooksy but know deep down that having siblings is so important and just feels right for our family.

Riding on long board.

I loved hunting for shells with mommy.

-Brooks and I got to go on spring break this year!! My parents took us and the rest of the family to Sanibel,FL. Josh had to stay home and work, so we missed him tons! It was a long road trip down there, but worth it! Brooks got to do an Easter egg hunt, play on beach, hunt for shells, swim in ocean and pool, ride on a long board, and go kayaking! We ate lots of food. That's when I really started to feel better and my appetite came back. My family was a huge help with Brooks on the beach so I got some relaxation in as well. I soaked up every minute knowing it will soon change. I really cherished that time with my little man. He is just so much fun to be around and keeps me smiling. Thanks again grandma and poppa. We love you!
